Luis Sastre Interview:
Hello! Tell us a bit about yourself...
My name is Luis Sastre and I'm a music producer born in Havana, Cuba. I'm pretty nerdy and enjoy many different genres of EDM.What inspires you to make music?Listening to other musicians and what they can do. When I hear something unique I think 'damn I wish I thought of that'. One day I hope others will say that about my music.Sum up your music in three words...Driving, Groovy, Funky.Best gig ever played?Playing inside the Acid Lounge of the Guvernment Complex with Iron Mike. Most fun I've ever had both in the booth and out drinking with the crowd.Pet hates?Dubstep Wub Wubs :PSun or snow?Sun!Guilty pleasure?Starcraft 2, and it's not guilty ;DFavourite piece of technology?Probably my music production PC, though in a year I'd upgrade parts of it... or all it!Top 3 upcoming acts to look out for?In the tech house scene I'd say Iron Mike & Nat Civello, they just recently released a great EP on Matteo Dimar's MAR186 label and on the techno side I'd say Ovi M who will probably end up gaining ground on labels such as KMR, Brood Audio and I'd imagine Bosphorous Underground.Links :
