We're proud to shine the spotlight on BBE, and in association with Juno Download and Whosampled.com we welcome DJ's across the world to browse the BBE catalogue and create a mix to upload on Mixcloud. The winner's mix will be released on BBE later in the year!
BBE was founded on a love of good music, and that's what they've strived to give you ever since. The line-up of artists that have released their music includes such greats as Jazzy Jeff, Marley Marl, DJ Vadim, DJ Spinna, Keb Darge, Paul Weller and Cut Chemist, Alice Smith and Masters at Work. Spanning 14 long years, Barely Breaking Even records has not sought publicity, it's not a label that has wallowed in its self, but has focussed on the music.
