Daddy’s Groove are back with the latest installment in their search for the perfect beat. Finding the time in between working on Guetta’s ‘Nothing But The Beat’ album, remixing single ‘Where Dem Girls At’, guesting at his Pacha, Ibiza events and remixing James Blunt's ‘Superstar’, the trio have been putting the finishing touches to It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay’ – a track that’s been a key point in their DJ sets over the last year.
Upcoming drum & bass duo Fred v Grafix complement the original with a fresh-sounding, energetic and characterful remix, Richard Dinsdale turns in a cool dubbier house mix while Marco V delivers the big room impact.
‘It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay’ was a huge international hit for Whitney Houston in 1999 and it’s a sad and tragic coincidence that the final mix package was completed on this record only a few days prior to Whitney’s untimely passing.
‘We love Whitney Houston and have had the honor to work for her back in the day with our remix of ‘I Didn't Know My Own Strength’, so it was natural for us to do this track’ say Daddy’s Groove. ‘We just mastered all the mixes on this record and have now decided to give it to all the DJs around the world as a tribute to one of the greatest voice of our time.
