It is the product of the Berlin-based electronic dance music producer and performer?s months of studio time, and far more time spent on the road traveling the globe. The backbone of the album was built while performing and composing in front of live audiences worldwide and its connecting threads build upon decades of watching the electronic dance music scene grow and change. Miami-based DJ/producer Austin Leeds, who previously collaborated with PvD on ?New York City? from his last studio album In Between, is featured on EVOLUTION for the intense and punchy floor filler. Says PvD, ?There?s a sunny Miami bass vibe to it and I?m coming more from the darker, Berlin underground side, and when we work together you find both sides there, but not in a separate way. It belongs together.?
