As Leaders Of The New School approaches its 50th release, we continue to bring the best in up and coming talent, with the latest offering coming courtesy of Dirty Harris & ThreeSixty's 'Manta EP'.
Having already impressed with his winning remix of Funkagenda's 'Afterclub', which was released on Toolroom earlier this year, Dirty Harris continues to impress with his unique mix of tough, tribal tech-house being snapped up by the likes of Big Love, Whartone and huge support from Groove Armada, Seamus Haji and many more. Production duo ThreeSixty have seen a fast rise to prominence in 2010 through a number of high profile remixes for Umek and Funkagenda as well as numerous sell out shows and an appearance on 'Flamingo Nights Vol 1'.
Lead track 'Manta' is a lively slice of tech-house that moulds a vigorous beat with viciously sharp stabs that punch through the speakers with devastating effect. Second track 'Polaris' demonstrates the versatility of this production partnership as they serve up a mix of sparkling synths and melodic plucks that build towards a moody drop with minimal fuss and maximum energy. Dirty Harris and younger brother Jack collaborate on the final track 'Desanges'. Thick, badass beats and a speaker breaking stab round this EP off with a full on stompathon.
A slick release delivering 3 quality tracks that raises the Leaders Of The New School standard even higher.
