Since bursting on to the radar 3 years ago, Ant Brooks made an immediate impact on the global house stage. His debut release ‘Shuffle’ gained immediate support from Pete Tong on the Radio 1 Essential Mix and the follow up ‘Underground’ held number one spot on download engine ‘Track It Down’ for 3 solid weeks.
For such a fresh face to the scene, it would seem difficult to sustain such an introduction. But, in true reflection to Ant’s consistency as a producer his follow up ‘Size’ on CR2 received nationwide radio support, plays from Mark Knight, Axwell, David Guetta, Roger Sanchez, Nic Fanciulli and was later featured on CR2’s ‘Live and Direct” compilation.
Since working alongside Diffused Music in 2007, Ant Brooks is one of few break through producers whose relentless consistency has been matched by a sustained level of quality. Michael Woods declared ‘Ant is one of the industries freshest producers, he is going to be a BIG name!’.
In a market place that is saturated with talent, one would wonder how Ant has managed to climb head and shoulders above the competition. The answer can be found within the range of music that Ant has released, with productions and remixes spanning across house, progressive house, tech house all the way through to techno genres.
